Company Complaints
they said they had no record of me requesting this email confirmation 1
they said they have no substantial reason to determine such policy. That call is recorded and I have the records of those. These alterations of terms and creating policies that neither honor the Uniform Commercial Codes and spite the customers who inquire about such policies in good faith is egregious and must be addressed. 1
they said they have the XXXX address of the charge 1
they said they needed to review the issue and send it to another office that could handle these complaints. Ultimately the denied waiving the fees. I believe this is against the law to do as I did not knowingly consent to not receiving statements nor did I receive any email communication thereafter of statements due. This practice caused my missing a deadline as well as forgetting to send future payments in a timely manner. I am just too busy and rely heavily on paper statements to pay off bills. Not receiving any communication abruptly like this was intentional by Wells Fargo and a deceptive practice to miss interest free deadlines and accrue late fees and additional interest charges. 1
they said they were able to pull some records 1
they said they were not able to reach him ( which another Chase agent told me the truth later that they can only call a US phone number ). Then they started to ask my roommates proof of ID 1
they said they will look into this and then they came back to me saying that I was not approved for the 0 % APR and a notification was sent to me agreeing to this and they had a screenshot of this. I asked for the screenshot. They said they cant provide it but will open an investigation into this. I would like to point out here that the rhetoric from a Welcome email stating the terms of promotion was sent to me changed into a notification sent to me saying I wasnt approved for 0 % APR. 1
they said they would 1
they said they would come back to fix/replace my closet door. After about 2 weeks of trying to speak to someone 1
they said they would give us a call back. Why did a creditor which would be Service Finance Company LLC call me back pertaining to the lean? We discharged their debt in our bankruptcy. A guy calls me and says I have to pay that amount in Order for them to lift the lean. The amount was XXXX. According to the XXXX XXXX company 1
they said they would investigate this claim with their compliance department. The next day 1
they said they would request more information if needed after the merchant responds to the claim. So I waited for them to request the documentation. But on XX/XX/2023 they denied the claim saying the merchant provided documentation showing the transaction is valid. 1
they said theyd file a case and a team in charge will get back to us. 1
they said to re-open the dispute that they would need more documentation now from XXXX indicating that my account was compromised. I proactively already filed disputes with my XXXX since my account was hacked and compromised and so clearly explained to them what I had access to and what I can provide. I also in the interim filed an official police report about the identity theft and fraudulent charges that I have been experiencing and provided documentation of this to Chase as well. Despite involving law enforcement 1
they said yes. 1
they said yes. Yet 1
they sale this data information to credit bureaus whether its accurate or not! So 2
they saw nothing wrong with this at all. Even though the state of this account was not of my doing. They would not let me close the account until the balance is XXXX. I want them to reverse the fees. They need to research '' their ability to do so. Meanwhile 1

they say they already updated your insurance information 1
they say they have it and then a week or a month later they tell us they need the SAME paper that they just said they HAD! and now since i defaulted on my loan so that i could go into the short sale program as instructed by wells fargo ( since they would not help me unless i defaulted on my loan ) i can do nothing for the buyer who is so desperately wanting to get into my home. at this point the buyer is offering to pay more than what i owe on the home 1
they say they will look into it and call me back and NO ONE ever does. I have a list of every phone call and all the supervisors I have spoken with and their ID numbers. I can't get my loan serviced. Help! See attached documentation.,Company has responded to the consumer and the CFPB and chooses not to provide a public response,Freedom Mortgage Company,HI,96734,Servicemember,Consent provided,Web,2019-04-15,Closed with explanation,Yes,N/A,3212862 1

they seemed extremely unwilling to work with me. XXXX 's agents advised me that the only option to resolve my mortgage crisis is to tender a lump sum payment to reinstate my mortgage loan. This request was and still is unaffordable. I continued to dig in and fight to get a review opened only to find that the loan had been transferred to Rushmore in XX/XX/2016. 1
they seemed to finally realize that they had made mistakes. I was assured by the supervisor that a complaint would be filed 1

About this letter-indexed view

This page lists every company beginning with the letter T that appears in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Consumer Complaint Database. The CFPB has accepted consumer complaints since 2011 and publishes them as a public dataset so consumers, journalists, and researchers can study patterns across the financial services industry. PlainComplaint mirrors that database and groups it by company so a single company page rolls up every complaint filed against that institution across every product, state, and complaint year.

Companies on this page are listed by name by default. You can switch the sort to "Most Complaints" to surface the highest-volume institutions starting with this letter, "Timely Response" to find companies with the strongest response track record, or "Most Recent" to see who has had complaints filed most recently. Each row links to a dedicated company page with year-over-year trends, the top complaint products, the issue categories driving volume, and a state-level breakdown showing where the company's customer base is filing the most reports.

How to interpret these numbers

Total complaint counts reflect raw volume — they do not control for a company's customer base size, market share, or product mix. A large nationwide bank can show six-figure complaint counts simply because it serves tens of millions of customers. A smaller regional lender with a low complaint count may still have a higher per-customer complaint rate. To compare companies fairly, look at "Timely Response %" alongside total volume: this measures the share of complaints the company answered within the CFPB's deadline. A high timely rate combined with a low consumer-disputed rate is a stronger signal of customer-service quality than raw count alone.

A complaint in this database is not a finding of wrongdoing. The CFPB does not verify the facts of each complaint before publishing it; complaints are consumer-submitted narratives. Companies have the opportunity to respond, dispute, or resolve each complaint, and many are resolved with monetary or non-monetary relief. The strength of the dataset is its scale — millions of records spanning every major U.S. consumer finance category — and its neutrality: it reports what consumers said happened, regardless of the company's perspective.

What you'll find on each company page

Each company detail page derives every statistic from the live PlainComplaint database. You'll see the company's total complaint volume since 2011, the timely-response rate, the breakdown by financial product (mortgages, credit cards, debt collection, credit reporting, and so on), the most common complaint issues filed against that company, the top states by complaint volume, and a year-over-year trend showing whether complaint volume is rising or falling. Where the database includes the company's most-recent assets or revenue, those values are shown so readers can compare complaint volume against firm size — context that raw counts alone cannot provide.

Companies are deduplicated where possible: subsidiaries are linked back to their parent organization, and shared identifiers from the CFPB are used to merge duplicate entries that appear under slightly different names. If you spot a company that should be merged with another, contact our editorial team — corrections are processed and reflected on the next dataset refresh.

Source & refresh cadence

All complaint records originate from the CFPB Consumer Complaint Database, downloaded from the agency's public data portal at consumerfinance.gov. We refresh the dataset on a regular cadence so the rankings, browse pages, and detail-page statistics stay aligned with the agency's latest public release. See the methodology page for the full data pipeline, deduplication rules, and refresh schedule. See the full company index for the alphabetical view across every letter, or jump to the rankings hub for live top-10 lists computed from the same database.
