but she actually had sabotaged or was incompetent of the door workings. I had to remind her to just push the crash-bar '' before she got it to work. 1
but she again said she could do nothing. I asked to speak with a manager and she advised me that they were out to lunch. 1
but she also acknowledged that I had not created the online account. It would make sense that if a customer supposedly selects paperless statements during the application process and then does n't create an online account 1
but she also acted reckless and could have caused a deadly situation since we always travel with firearms for our protection. 1
but she also said that I could go into a BofA and sign a form in-person... ( I was just there! See the runaround I keep getting? ) 3 more weeks and still no form so I called a third time. This time I am told that there is no way to add him to the account as it has already been closed. 1
but she can not provide evidence of the delivery of tokens 1
but she can't because she is constantly being threatened by calls and letters from Navient about taking her house 1

but she could not help me. I did check my emails and I never received any correspondence regarding a withdraw. The amount of money that was taken was actually less than my initial deposit. 1
but she could see that my account was STILL CLOSED and that XXXX was STILL ON THE ACCOUNT. All she could do was call the Fraud Department for me and spoke on my behalf. I was eventually left to speak with the lady 1
but she could/would not tell the XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX what or how my income was calculated. As things escalated with XXXX she stated that she didnt need to tell my XXXX XXXXXXXX why it was denied at all. XXXX stated if we didnt agree with the denial that we should write an appeal letter stating that we appeal the denial. She said it doesnt matter why we dont agree with the denial 1
but she denies any involvement in opening these accounts. 3
but she did inform me that the late payment remark on the credit report was not for the minimum payment being missed but it was for late fees. If XXXX XXXX would have applied the payments as instructed then the account would be current.,,EQUIFAX 1

but she doubled down and said that I was probably behind on my payments and all but hung up on me. I also tried calling the number on StudentAid.com but they said I needed to talk to my loan servicer. When I said that Mohela wasn't answering my questions and was very difficult to get through to 1
but she felt like I was not being respectful to her in realizing this was my debt. The XXXX representative and myself stayed on this call for over 45 minutes. but she hung up. When I tried to call back 1
but she insisted. I then called XXXX 1
but she just used that one line to deny my opening an account. I could have easily attached a notarized amendment for the tax ID number if thats what was required. She used The reason that the dates didnt match on the start date of the trust and the issuance of the tax ID number to deny my having an account at this bank. Next 1

About this letter-indexed view

This page lists every company beginning with the letter B that appears in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Consumer Complaint Database. The CFPB has accepted consumer complaints since 2011 and publishes them as a public dataset so consumers, journalists, and researchers can study patterns across the financial services industry. PlainComplaint mirrors that database and groups it by company so a single company page rolls up every complaint filed against that institution across every product, state, and complaint year.

Companies on this page are listed by name by default. You can switch the sort to "Most Complaints" to surface the highest-volume institutions starting with this letter, "Timely Response" to find companies with the strongest response track record, or "Most Recent" to see who has had complaints filed most recently. Each row links to a dedicated company page with year-over-year trends, the top complaint products, the issue categories driving volume, and a state-level breakdown showing where the company's customer base is filing the most reports.

How to interpret these numbers

Total complaint counts reflect raw volume — they do not control for a company's customer base size, market share, or product mix. A large nationwide bank can show six-figure complaint counts simply because it serves tens of millions of customers. A smaller regional lender with a low complaint count may still have a higher per-customer complaint rate. To compare companies fairly, look at "Timely Response %" alongside total volume: this measures the share of complaints the company answered within the CFPB's deadline. A high timely rate combined with a low consumer-disputed rate is a stronger signal of customer-service quality than raw count alone.

A complaint in this database is not a finding of wrongdoing. The CFPB does not verify the facts of each complaint before publishing it; complaints are consumer-submitted narratives. Companies have the opportunity to respond, dispute, or resolve each complaint, and many are resolved with monetary or non-monetary relief. The strength of the dataset is its scale — millions of records spanning every major U.S. consumer finance category — and its neutrality: it reports what consumers said happened, regardless of the company's perspective.

What you'll find on each company page

Each company detail page derives every statistic from the live PlainComplaint database. You'll see the company's total complaint volume since 2011, the timely-response rate, the breakdown by financial product (mortgages, credit cards, debt collection, credit reporting, and so on), the most common complaint issues filed against that company, the top states by complaint volume, and a year-over-year trend showing whether complaint volume is rising or falling. Where the database includes the company's most-recent assets or revenue, those values are shown so readers can compare complaint volume against firm size — context that raw counts alone cannot provide.

Companies are deduplicated where possible: subsidiaries are linked back to their parent organization, and shared identifiers from the CFPB are used to merge duplicate entries that appear under slightly different names. If you spot a company that should be merged with another, contact our editorial team — corrections are processed and reflected on the next dataset refresh.

Source & refresh cadence

All complaint records originate from the CFPB Consumer Complaint Database, downloaded from the agency's public data portal at consumerfinance.gov. We refresh the dataset on a regular cadence so the rankings, browse pages, and detail-page statistics stay aligned with the agency's latest public release. See the methodology page for the full data pipeline, deduplication rules, and refresh schedule. See the full company index for the alphabetical view across every letter, or jump to the rankings hub for live top-10 lists computed from the same database.
