'' I called the number and was told that they could not give me any details but a letter would be sent explaining everything. ( the email said to call this number to discuss the matter further ). I letter did come with no explanation of why the accounts were closed. I called again and was told that they could not tell me why the accounts were closed. I called a contact at the Citibank Executive Response Team at ( XXXX at XXXX ). She said she only deals with credit cards but would have her counterpart in the deposits '' area call me.
