| of course it is a hotel ( HOTEL is in the name of the charge ) and they are happy to look it up online ... Bank of America said that they would escalated it. After Bank of America not getting back to me in their promised timeframe ( with only days left to pay my bill ) I called for the 3rd time and was told that in their system the HOTEL charge did not show up as a hotel ( not my fault ) and that they would not honor my ability to use my accrued points against travel charges. Complaint volume is heavily influenced by company size, customer base, and market footprint — larger financial institutions routinely carry more filings purely because they serve more consumers. A complaint is a consumer-reported allegation, not proven wrongdoing, and a timely or relief-flagged closure does not by itself confirm fault.
