3 months later I get a notification on my XXXX app that my credit score had dropped XXXX POINTS. I was very confused and did some digging and apparently my old apartment complex ( listed above ) decided that I owed them an additional {$500.00} and turned me over to collections without my knowledge back on XX/XX/XXXX. I have emails and bills and a bunch of other evidence that shows I don't owe anything and I have never received any correspondence of any kind from them after XX/XX/XXXX. I am worried this is a scam they pull to past residences thinking they can get away with it without taking any responsibility. I would like them to be investigated because their could be a lot of young people getting their credit scores crushed right out of the gate because of this places shady billing practices. I have never been turned over to collections before 1
