I went onto AMEX community form website and there are numerous people on it with the same problem that I have had with AMEX and disputing charges. I have called and called them and just get passed to another phone operator. I have sent them written confirmation from the merchant where I tried to cancel on XX/XX/XXXX and then AMEX came back and said they denied because vendor said I never tried to cancel or never complained.
